Miss Colorado U.S international 2012: Iman Oubou

Iman, the 2012 Colorado winner of Miss U.S International, is of Moroccan origins she will be representing the state of Colorado in the Miss United States International pageant held in Orlando, Florida this coming june.
The International Pageant system has been developed to promote today's young women and their accomplishments. Around the world women are finding this system to be the opportunity to work with others to become positive role models. Being the premiere pageant for young women has given Miss International a chance to open doors for all women around the world.
The Miss International 2012 competition will be held July 27th and 28th, 2012 at the Northshore Center for the Performing Arts in Chicago, Illinois. The exciting events and activities leading up to the Pageant will begin in Chicago on July 23rd. The event will give each contestant the opportunity to learn about customs and family life in other countries, along with the chance to share her beliefs and make new friends during the entire week of activities leading up to two exciting evenings of competition.
Iman Oubou graduated from Colorado State University in May 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. She is now currently completing her Masters of Science in biomedical engineering along with a certificate in Bio-innovation entrepreneurship at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus after coming back from her Internship in Germany. When she is not in school, she gets involved with international medical missions and local medical centers. She recently went on a medical mission with MISSION TO HEAL to East Africa, specifically South Sudan where she helped out with medical care in various villages (Check out the Mission photo album).
With Mission to heal, she is currently working on organizing a medical mission with the team to her native country, Morocco.
